About Mrs. Taylor

Hi, I'm Lisa Taylor and I am the Exceptional Children's teacher. This will be my 6th year at Broad Creek Middle school and 15th year teaching in Carteret County as an Exceptional Children's teacher. I am very excited to be a part of the Broad Creek Middle School family and look forward to a great year!

A little about myself, I am originally from La Grange, NC and attended UNCW to pursue a degree in Psychology. After graduating, I worked with school aged children with various physical and cognitive disabilities in the school and community setting. I can honestly say, this is what sparked my passion for working with special needs children! I truly love doing what I do! To follow my dreams of becoming a special education teacher, I then attended ECU for a licensure in special education general curriculum and severe/profound.

I look forward to this being an awesome year and cannot wait to get to know and work with your child!
